Exclamation The winning issues - womens equality!

Over half the voters are women. Many assume that because Obama claims to be for equal rights for African-Americans, gays and even illegals then he also is for equality for women.

Voters don't know that Obama paid the women on his staff 17% ($9,000) less than men. It doesn't occur to women voters that he never mentions equality for women.

It was never pointed out that when asked to name any potential person to his cabinet, Obama only will list men - while McCain named the female CEO of Ebay.

The question of why did he pass over Hillary with 49+% of the vote to pick a man with less than 1% for V.P.

We need to remind fellow women that African-American men have had the right to vote, property rights and a legal right to equal pay for decades longer than women.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck was right on the winning points about sexism, which should be defined as discrimination against women.

It is his lack of connecting with women that is costing McCain/Palin this election. PLEASE, Team Sarah, say it over and over and over about Obama paying women less while McCain doesn't and this shows why he didn't pick Hillary as your #1 talking point!

Everyone always talks from a male perspective of male concerns, BUT WOMEN DECIDE EVERY ELECTION!

Sarah Palin is absolutely wonderful and unique as she really is an outsider and really is the one candidate that is "change!"

Go for women's votes on the issue of discrimination against women and win this election!

Thanks for the info. I've always felt he had a problem with women, but I didn't know about the pay difference in his staffing.

Smile Women and the Republican Party

There was a conference call last night on the GOP Pink Elephant's group. This call will be a monthly call. I just listened to the archive today and it's worth the 45 minutes. The guest speaker reviewed where the Republican Party went wrong in 2008 and where it gained. And there were statistics regarding women in different groups in this country that I'm sure you will find very interesting.

If you listen to this call, please post your comments on this blog so we can all compare notes. I really think we are on to something here. Looks like it's time to get more women involved, especially since we .............well, you'll just have to listen to the call.

(Maybe I will come back home to the Republican Party after this one election absence in the Land of Independents.)
